Description
The Datascan 7010 Measurement Processor module allows connection for a host computer or local display device to a Datascan 7000 Network at any point and provides the measurement facilities for connected scanner modules.
Onboard, each 7010 is a programmable high-performance ADC, a serial interface for connection to the host computer, a network interface permitting up to 32 further Measurement Processors (e.g. 7010,72xx or 73xxseries) or 7011 Network Interface modules to be connected, and an expansion bus for Datascan 7000 Scanner Modules.
The local expansion bus provides the method by which analog and digital scanner modules can be connected.
Up to 256 channels can be added to each 7010 expansion port up to a distance of 10m.
